Academy Bartels is situated on the beautiful Culitsrode estate, a natural resource that is now officially recognised by the Dutch Government. The Culitsrode resource is neighbouring the large estate 'Landgoed de Utrecht', which covers thousands of acres, where one can ride in the forest for many hours. The accommodation has proven to be suitable for not only extensive training of horses, the facilities also offer a variety of possibilities for exclusive seminars, parties and events, covered with an equestrian frosting. Academy Bartels organised several events for organisations such as Dumeco, Palace Het Loo, Heinz Foodservice, Lexus, GTI, Technical Union, Achmea Real Estate and Rabobank, supported by an entertaining program with a.o. several equestrian shows. Academy Bartels also has a breeding department with famous stallions such as OO Seven, UB40 and the Friesian stallion Wilke C.
